So, I’m finally trying to get some of the progression of the ultrasounds. They aren’t the best or easiest to see from my scanning them in, but you can still make out most of it.
This Ultrasound was at 8w4d. You can see tiny little Gavin in the upper portion in the gestational sac. Under the g.s. there is a gray mass that is about twice as long as the g.s. This is the massive blood clot that was in my uterus along with Gavin and what kept me on bed rest for 5 weeks. You can see why there was cause for concern. Luckily as far as we know it has taken care of itself and should no longer be a problem. We definitely thank Heavenly Father for this!

This ultrasound was about 4 weeks later. The clot is harder to see in the pics, but you can see it on the dvd we got much better. He still kind of looks like a turtle at this stage. But his heartbeat was always really strong!

These next ones are all from my 20 week ultrasound. I think he is so cute, the scanned in copies don’t do him justice.
A larger profile pic than previously posted.

I’m a boy!

His little Skeletor face.

Two little feet.

Today I attended the funeral of sister that was in my home ward from growing up, Sis Kay Sanders. Attending such an event always makes me reflect upon my own life and where I am and were I am going. Sis Sanders was such a great woman who cared so much for others and was so selfless. Hearing her life and knowing her makes me want to be a better person. I want people to say I gave myself to others and loved the Lord with all my heart, not to just say it, but that I lived this way. I don’t want to regret things here. I want to be prepared to meet my Savior and Father whenever that time is. Listening to the children and sister made me want to be better to my family. I want to be a good mom to Gavin and raise him as my Father in Heaven wants me to. I pray I can do it. Thanks to all my family and friends for all you do for me and please help me to be better! I love you all!
Alright, I don’t love pics of myself, but I will try and put some up every few weeks so family can see Gavin growing.
I was basically 25 weeks in these. Anytime I have Emily take the pics she does the heart over the tummy. You can see a little better in these than in the black dress what size my tummy is. Not sure if I’m small or big or “normal”. I’m just pregnant. hehe

So, Mike and I were sitting on the couch last night watching American Idol. I was leaning on him and his hand was on my left side. Gavin started moving around and I felt him “kick” Mike and asked if he felt it. He thought maybe he did. Well, Gavin did again and harder and Mike and I both know he felt it for sure. It was a pretty big kick from Mr. Gavin. He even kicked one more time. So Mike felt him 3 times in a row. Up to this point there MAY have been once or twice he has felt Gavin, but we weren’t positive. So, needless to say we were both very excited. It was awesome having it be a kick and not just a vibration like he may have felt before. I’m sure there will be plenty more times for Daddy to fell his little one.

Ok, so I have to get my fun pic in as well as Nicole’s hottie and baby pic. This one is of just the boys in the immediate blood-line (no disrespect to the in-law bros).
We had my family come into town for Kayley’s (niece) baptism and took some family pictures (as is the painful norm). This one of Nicole turned out really well.
