Wow, it’s been awhile!!

So, it’s been 2 months and i’m sure lots has happened.  Hopefully I can remember at least some things.  I haven’t been very good at journaling so forgive that there will be just a whole bunch of things about my baby here. Gavin has  been sick, a lot.  He got sick on our way to Mississippi.  He got sicker and sicker as we traveled and was sick the Sunday and Monday while we were there and then had a runny nose and slight cough for almost 2 weeks.  He’s currently sick AGAIN and he had only not had his runny nose for maybe a week.  GRR.  He started last Friday morning about 5:30 by puking. He puked 4 times in 12 hours.  He also started having diahrea during those hours.  Then he was around his cousins who were sick and he picked up a cold too.  Then last night he was puking again.  Man, will it ever stop???  I picked up everything Gavin has too.  I puked on Sunday then got the cold right along with it.  I haven’t taken anything but my pre-natal vitamins and I hate that I’m having to wipe Gavin’s and my nose.    Even with him being sick he is a GREAT kid!!  He loves his mommy and daddy a lot.  He smiles and laughs and gives us so much joy.  He likes to hold his daddy’s hands and walk around like a big boy.  He doesn’t crawl yet, but he can scoot around on his bum.  Just ask his Aunt Mimi!  He moves from one end of the bath to the other and if he puts his mind to it can get anything he wants if we’re not watching him carefully!  He seems to finally, maybe, be starting to put some consonants with the vowel sounds he makes.  So maybe he’ll be calling us mama and dada soon.  Gavin loves to give me “kisses” by chewing on my chin and jaw.  He still loves to jump and move.  He LOVES playing with his cousins and you can see that he’s trying to figure out how to do what they are doing.  He loves going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to see them and his Uncles.  His Aunt Mimi has watched him a few times and he love going there too as he is entertained by his cousins.  He only wants to sleep in Mommy and Daddy’s bed.  *sigh*  he just starts screaming if he wakes in his.  Sometime we’ll work harder to get him in his…   He was eating solids really good til this time around he got sick and for the last 5-6 days he hasn’t wanted to eat at all.  He likes to watch Sesame Street.  He sings himself to sleep when we travel in the car.  He likes to blow ‘rasberries’ on mommy’s chin.  Those are things I can think of for now.  If Mike can think of anything else we’ll add it in too.
